Magic Snooze Privacy Policy

Magic Snooze is designed as a privacy-first app. We do not require account registration, and we do not run our own backend server to collect your personal progress data.

1. What data we collect

We do not collect personal data on our servers. Magic Snooze stores your app data locally on your device.

• Routines and routine progress
• Tasks and due dates
• Notes, including optional image attachments and voice notes
• Streak, freeze, victories and related statistics
• App preferences (theme, language, notification toggles)

2. Where your data is stored

App data is stored on-device (local storage) and is not uploaded to Magic Snooze servers.

3. Notifications and permissions

Magic Snooze requests permissions only when needed for optional features you actively use.

• POST_NOTIFICATIONS (Android): optional reminders configured by you.
• Microphone: only when you choose to record a voice note.
• Photos / media library: only when you choose to attach images to a note.
• You can deny these permissions; the rest of the app remains usable.
• Notifications can be disabled at any time in app settings.
• No ads, no marketing push campaigns, no user profiling.

4. Data sharing

We do not sell your data and do not share your personal productivity content with third parties.

5. Data retention and deletion

• You can clear your app data from inside the app (Reset / clear data feature), if available.
• Uninstalling the app removes locally stored app data from your device storage.

6. Children

Magic Snooze is not designed to knowingly collect personal data from children through a backend service. Since data is stored locally, parents and guardians should supervise device usage as needed.

7. Security

We implement a local-first design to reduce data exposure. However, device security also depends on your phone security settings (screen lock, OS updates, etc.).

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect product or legal changes. The updated version will be published at this URL with a new effective date.
